Bought in 1999 in Canterbury, UK. Died in London, on Kilburn High Road, in front of Sainsbury's, on a cold winter's day in 2000.

Bought in December 2000 in London. Somehow ended up in Italy.

Bought at the second-hand car market round the old football stadium in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Jointly purchased with my Scottish mate, Roddy. We spent 12,000 pesos (600 pounds), and drove it all the way down to Acapulco, though we spent more time at garages than on the beach. We ended up leaving it in Acapulco because we couldn't be bothered anymore. We sold it to mechanic Julio Cesar for the grand total of 7000 pesos, of which he still owes us 2000.

Bought in 2003 from my wife's brother Juan. Only lasted a few months because I crashed it on the motorway between San Luis Potosi and Mexico City trying to avoid hitting a big dog that was walking on the motorway. I managed to avoid the dog, but not a big pile of shingles that was lying by the side of the road and sent me flying several hundred yards dukes-of-hazard-style.

Bought brand new at Torres Corzo dealership in San Luis Potosi by me and my wife. This is a very austere model that's not sold in Europe, though ours did have power steering and a CD player. We sold it on to my wife's brother (Juan again) in the same year as we were moving to Spain.

Bought at Autos Jimenez del Paso, Malaga. One of very few second hand cars available in Spain. The Spanish prefer to buy new cars. Still going strong...
