We stopped over in the Big Apple this time, en route to Mexico. We spent five action-packed days in the city of cities, the city that never sleeps, like us, because the time difference made that we were wide awake at 5am and up and about before 7am every day.
If you ask me to sum up New York City in two words, I'd say Starbucks and iPhones. New Yorkers are extremely skilled at negotiating the streets and avenues of their fine city with a gigantic Starbucks coffee in one hand and an iPhone in the other, sipping coffee while tapping and dragging one finger of the cup-holding hand on the iPhone's screen, truly impressive, never saw any of these people walk into anything. Top of the rock. The best views of NYC, without the queues, and you get to see the Empire State Building in its full glory.

Sleepy Diego on Brooklyn Bridge
Tickets to go see the Yankees were 150 bucks, so we made do with some real people playing baseball in the park...
