Kite-flying science boy

Sunday was a fine day to fly my improvised kite. The frame was a gift from my auntie Eva's mother-in-law. All we had to do was add a big plastic bag. It didn't last very long though, the string snapped and Mr Kitington ended up in the sea. But we'd really caught the kite-flying bug, so we went and bought a proper kite and spent the rest of the day on the beach flying it. Diego joined us too. But he's too small, which is his general excuse for never joining in on the action.
Earlier that same week, we visited the Parque de las Ciencias (Science Museum) in Granada, a truly magnificent place for kids. This is me at the taxidermy workshop, great fun to see how they gut tigers and giraffes.
There's a tower on the site, from which you have some stunning views of the city and Sierra Nevada. And it also offered us a fine view of how the plonker in the picture below took a roundabout at excessive speed, and ended up parking his beemer against a lamppost. Typical bit of Spanish racer-boy behaviour.
My old lady and young bro also joined us at the top of the tower.
Here's me trying to enjoy the view through my pillow.
This is a heat-sensor image of me. Red is hot, blue is cold....duh. Note the amount of red in the lady to my right (my mother), the large blue patch is her scarf. There's no denying she's a hot-blooded Mexican woman.
